Youth Event Fund
We have formed the Arkansas Youth Coalition (more than 100 youth across 21 campuses) to support this campaign and teach them how to use their power within our civic systems to ensure that the voice of Arkansas youth is heard. We have hosted two youth weekends of action where we train and role-play and then put those skills to use working community and political events. We are hosting our third event the weekend of October 16 in Little Rock. On Friday night, we will be training and on Saturday. We have scheduled to work multiple community events and teach them how to canvass. They will be taking back the skills and information to their respective campuses across the state. This fund will be to support lodging, branded campaign materials and merch, and of course, food for the weekend. Any funds raised over the cost for the weekend will be used to purchase more materials for them to take back to their respective campuses to help other students and communities ensure they have a voting plan and are prepared to win this election. This work will last long past this election. We hope to gather 35-50 young leaders for this event.
