St. Joseph County Democrats Mutual Aid Crisis Response
St. Joseph County has an estimated 27,573 SNAP recipients. The average monthly benefit is $195 per person. Last year, Sen. Jim Banks, Sen. Todd Young, & Rep. Rudy Yakym voted to cut SNAP by $186 billion.
Now Donald Trump's failed war against Iran and his family's epic corruption are driving the costs of gas, groceries and healthcare beyond reach for many of our neighbors.
