AI that takes on the busywork — so your people can focus on people.
The GoodChange Agent handles the lookups, reports, first drafts, and setup that pull your staff and volunteers away from donors. It suggests; your team decides. Refunds and other money actions always wait for a person.
More time with donors. Less time in software.
Fundraising runs on relationships, and those belong to people. No AI should make your calls, decide your strategy, or speak to your donors for you. What it can do is give your team back the hours lost to lookups, exports, and setup. GoodChange's agentic tools are built to do exactly that, from the same fundraising playbooks we use with campaigns every day.
GoodChange Agent
Open the Agent from any page in GoodChange and ask in plain English. It knows which page you're on, answers with your real numbers, and proposes changes for you to approve.
What the Agent can do →GoodChange MCP server
Connect the AI tool your team already uses, like Claude or ChatGPT, directly to your GoodChange account. Your team sets what it can change, and money actions always wait for a person.
How MCP works →Busywork the Agent takes off your plate.
It does the digging and the first pass. Your team brings the judgment. Answers come from the same data your dashboards use, and the Agent only works with what your role already allows.
Know your donors
Ask who your top and repeat donors are, which recurring donors have lapsed, or how one supporter has given over time.
Track gifts, refunds, and payouts
Pull up payments, recurring gifts, refunds and disputes, failed-payment retries, and payout status without digging through screens.
Build and schedule reports
Start from GoodChange's report datasets, choose and rename the columns you need, preview, and download a CSV. Schedule it weekly or monthly, and each run lands in your Agent history.
Draft donor emails
Start from a first draft of a donor update or thank-you, make it sound like you, and send it from your own email tool. The Agent can also build audience segments and tracked links.
Set up forms, events, and slates
Create or edit donation forms, events and ticket types, memberships, and slates that split one gift across several fundraisers.
Keep your donor list clean
Update contributor records, add notes, find and merge duplicates, and import a spreadsheet with a preview before anything is saved.
Nothing changes until you say so.
The Agent is an assistant, not a decision-maker. It reads and suggests; people decide. Every change it wants to make shows up as a card with exactly what will happen, and nothing is saved until you approve it.
It sees only what you can see
The Agent follows your team's existing role permissions. A teammate who can't view payouts or export data can't get them through the Agent either.
Every change is a card you approve
Edits, new forms, record updates, and refunds all wait for your click. Refunds, deletions, and admin changes get a stronger confirmation step, and proposals you don't act on expire after 24 hours.
Every AI change is on the record
Your audit log shows which changes were made through the Agent or a connected AI tool. Organization owners get a Monday email summarizing what AI changed, whenever there's something to report.
No surprise email blasts
The Agent drafts emails but doesn't send them to your donors. You review the draft and send it yourself.
Use the AI you already trust — under your team's rules.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT work with other software. The GoodChange MCP server connects your team's AI tool directly to your GoodChange account, so you can ask it about donors or have it set things up without copying data back and forth.
From Claude, ask “Which monthly donors have lapsed?” or “Set up an event form for Saturday's fundraiser,” and the GoodChange MCP server carries out the request under the rules your team sets.
Your digital lead or an admin with developer access connects it once from Developer → MCP in GoodChange, with step-by-step instructions for each tool.
It sees what your teammate sees
A connected AI tool can see the same information as the teammate who connected it, and no more. To make changes, your team picks which areas it can touch, like forms or donor records. Nothing is turned on by default.
Money always waits for a person
Refunds and other money actions, deletions, emails to people, and admin changes wait in Pending approvals inside GoodChange until someone on your team approves them. The AI can't approve its own request. Smaller, reversible changes, like editing a form, are previewed before the AI confirms them.
Some things only people can do
A connected AI tool can never change who's on your team, transfer ownership, disconnect your payout bank account, or change your account's security keys. It's also limited to 10 refunds or $1,000 in refunds a day, and every refund still needs a person's approval.
Only your team can connect it
Only teammates with developer access can connect an AI tool through the GoodChange MCP server. Owners get an email when one is connected, every change it makes is labeled in your audit log, and you can disconnect it anytime.
